As an American male, this album reminds me that if you are a Frenchman in France and you can't get laid, you must be too old to get it up, have some horrible skin disease or deformity, be in prison, some good excuse like that. Even being ugly is no excuse - all you have to do is take one look at Serge Gainsbourg!
So many American males, especially the dreaded species known as the Bush-loving RepubliChristian, despise the French. Not me, and for many reasons other than admiring their beautiful women. But if these stupid Americans only knew as boys what it would be like to grow up in France as a male, they would gladly trade their citizenship. One look at Jane Birkin and I'd trade mine!
